works well.

A front strut tower brace also works well in my experience.

what you may try doing (if you haven't already), is to try adding a bit of preload (outwards) on the strut tower brace. This may help a bit.

After much research I picked up a can of Maxima Chain Wax...$8. Spray it on window side of gasket. Haven't put it on yet but users swear by it.

Did the magic Porsche rope trick yesterday on my TT, I would say it has fixed it 100%, took about 45minutes and I used a plastic rule to slip under the seal and push the rope home. This is a great cure for squeaky or rattling screens, a real must do and only about $10

Yes, the 996 number is the stuff you want, the 000 number is the bonding stuff

Rope doesn't last. Check the 993 and tech forum threads................Chain wax does.
