Default Rear Deck Lid Struts

I'm about to change out my rear deck lid struts and am just wondering what if anything needs to be removed to gain enough clearance to change them. (Am away from my car right now and can't remember how much clearance there is) If I remember correctly, I'm assuming the intercooler needs to come off? Anything else?

Thank you-

The intercooler is the only part that needs to come off. You should have enough room to operate. You just have to be a little limber

You may just want to spray your arms and hands with bactine now and get it over with.
