Default It's back at last. New pics

I finished the little bits today, tail pipes, make the stereo go again and just a general muck around. But it feels so good to have this beauty back where it belongs.
Excuse the nozzel pipe poking out (thanks for getting me one MJ) and excuse the front carpet. Thats also coming (thanks Mike again) but apart from that she's all back together and looking as sexy as she ever did, even better
It's been a lonnnnnnnng 6 months.
All the best.

Looks awesome!!!!! But what's all that ballast in the front trunk for? Better weight distribution?

Brian,
That's the stereo system that was in the car when I bought it. It probably weighs a fair bit, but weight isn't a factor because I am NEVER going to the track again anyway! It's an awesome sounding system too. Three amplifiers, one for the mid range speakers, the subwoofers and tweeters. The guy spent a fortune on it when it was new. They made a fibreglass mould that fits over the petrol tank so the amps could be mounted. It's a very tidy install.
All I have to do now is get the HD's installed and it's done like a dinner.
Thanks for all the comments.
I'm still smiling every time I go into my garage.

993man, if you can hear that awesome stereo, then your exhaust is not loud enough!

Congrats again on getting the car back home Graham, you should have the rest of the parts you're missing in 6-10 days.

yep, aint that the truth. I'm going to get the bent bypass pipe repaired tomorrow, so it should be a bit louder soon.

Graham,

Fantastic to see it all finally complete again!! The paint looks awesome!

Do you need the washer nozzles? I have a few spare here I think - Let me know and I will find them and send the missing one over!

Get back to the track - just get back on the horse -and take it easy - WORK your way up to it.....

Simon.

Love it... Nothing like getting your baby back after a "freshen up". Congrats & enjoy!
