Default Clear Corners question

Do I need new bulbs (yellow) if I switch to the clears?

TIA

Hal

The key is to find a clear bulb that lights yellow. That's what I have. Or else you will have the "egg yolk" look if you use a bulb with yellow glass behind the clear corner.

Maybe. I don't know what is exactly in mine, and I am about 500 miles away from the garage on a business trip. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I bought some chromed bulbs that burn amber. When you look them, there's no yellow tint at all.

i just put clear corners on this summer. You can get bulbs that glow amber when lit but have a silver coating so that they are not visible when off. I found them at stealthauto.com, part #7528. These have the offset pins. The first set that I purchased from another vendor had the bulb pins directly across from each other and they didn't lock into the bulb socket. Check the bulb that you pull from your existing socket assembly. You will probably want to use the socket on the car instead of the socket that typically comes with the clear lense assemblies that are sold.
