Default SEAT SCUFF DYE

Any recommendations on dye to fix a minor seat scuff on a black leather set? The commercial stuff is sold in way too large qunatities and seems quite pricey for a minor fix. I'm thinkin' there should be a shoe or furniture dye which would do the job well...

Call and talk to JoAnn at www.colorplus.com. Great lady and great products. She knows Porsche leather.

Thanks. I checked it out but the smallest container is enough to cover a huge area and I only have a 2" by 6" sectionto touch up.....I'm still thinking a furniture repair place or shoe dye is the answer but would like to hear from someone who has tried it successfully....

How bad is the scuff? Is it on leather that will make contact with your clothes? Don't discount the use of simple black kiwi shoe polish - best applied when the leather is warm and then kept warm to help it soak in. Then 24-48 hour polish with a clean light colored cloth until no more comes off the leather and see how it looks.

It's really minor. The polish idea would probably work but I think I'll go to a furniture store and see what they have......then polish it!
