Just for the hell of it really

Been waiting for years for this day. FYI, my car will be on the road again in Jan sometime. Got all the parts from LA Porsche and just about to buy the last bit from Axeman. ABS unit.
One headlight to arrive this week and that's it. TT's are very expensive to fix!
I never got insurance either. Even though I was covered for track use they still found a way to weezle out if it saying I needed a driving instructor in the car with me, yet they say it was a race, and if it was a race you are not allowed anyone in the car.
Complicated but I'm over it.
Managed to keep the wife and my sanity over this.

congrats on post 993, and getting the car ready for January, and keeping the wife...at least it didn't cost you 60 million like Tiger, and he only smashed a Cadillac!
on another note I had 911 private messages stored the other day...should be at 993 within a year.
was it LAPD (parts dismantler) or LA Porsche ? if LAPD please post details after parts installed as many have posted major problems with these guys and it would be nice to hear something good about them.
