Larger tires on stock twists?
Hi Everyone,
I tried to do some searching but wasn't able to come up with an definitive answer...I am thinking about puting new Yoko Advan Neova AD08's on the stock turbo rims and thought now might be a good time to bump up the sizes in the front and back 10mm. I was thinking about putting a 235/40 on up front and a 295/30 in the back. Do you think this would be o.k. or should I stay with the stock 225/40 and 285/30 sizes? Do you think the tires are going to buldge on the rims badly? I was planning for autocross and some track usage and don't have money right now for larger rims and the car needs tires now. Let me know what you think...
Thanks,
Russ

295/30-18 Tires on Stock Rim
I have 295/30-18 Michelin PS on the stock rims on my 993tt which fit without problem. I think that the range of rim sizes specified for the Yokohamas is 10 - 10.5" so I don't think that you will have a problem.
