recently, I was asked to move a yellow CTR-2 during a photo shoot. The shifter seemed VERY different from my car - much shorter throws and very tight/lacking in slop. The owner was not around so I couldn't ask any questions. What did Ruf use for a shifter? Was this a 2WD or 4WD car? In hindsight, I should have at least looked to see if it had front axles or a dimpled tunnel cover.
ps - my car was parked next to it during the shoot. I felt like a pair of brown shoes with a tuxedo

Doug,
I have 97 993TT and asked Ruf in Germany this week about their short shift kit - the answer was "not recommended due to drive shaft tunnel, could be done but you would need to do a lot of metal working."
I don't know of anyone who has a plug and play version yet....maybe a RS version would work??
