Guys my heart is set on the 993 Turbo.. Ive owned a 930 (5 speed) which is completely stock for the last four years. I have driven a couple of 993 Turbos but only for a short period of time. Although the experience was brief it seemed to offer the obvious - a much more modern driving experience, more refined, acceleration is smooth, handles better, has power steering etc...

Obviously the 930 is raw, harsher ride, heavy steering at slow speeds etc but it is great fun once you understand its characteristics and learn to drive it well.

Both are a thing of beauty IMO..

Have any of you made he change from a 930 to the 933 Turbo, is it the best thing you ever did.. or do you miss the 930

the 930 was KING in it's day but today it is just a slow,out dated,primitive cool looking Porsche..why would you miss all that turbo lag ??? The 993 twin turbo issssssssssssssssssssssss the car..Instant power,no lag and a power assisted hydrolic clutch that just falls to the floor !!..Kills Bugs Fassssssssssssssst..
