For all you low milage freaks
Just noticed this on the RUF mother church site (http://www.rufautomobile.de). Some salient points:
Listed in RUF Vehicles section, not Porsche Vehicles. RUF vin?
Individual/lightweight construction in 2005. (?)
Total milage 12,000 km.
Blood Orange in color.
Integrated roll cage, which usually means no rain gutters.
Etc., etc.
Price on Request, which I would assume means bring the Big checkbook.
I know absolutely nothing further about the car other than what I read on the site, but it sounds like a very interesting car.

The other scenario for it being first registered in 2005 is that it was on dealer plates or the like and then the owner was forced to register it because of changing emission regulations - I've seen this happen with other garage queens.

My "guess", seeing that it was "manufactured" (rather than registered) in 2005 is that this is a conversion of a Porsche VIN 993TT... with very low miles. Its hard to imagine that Ruf would have kept a white 993 tub around their shop for nine years, but I guess that's possible too.
On the other end of the spectrum, Rufus has 120,000 miles on him now (34K since the conversion). Dang... I love my car.
