a touch early on the entry, but the tires on their last legs (a full season 20 trackdays & countless heat cycles) were never going to hold 3100 lbs + 400 of human ballast @ 1.43g's. and as soon as it went, opposite lock only helped keep it sideways on track, I don't think it was coming back, although I question whether feeding in more throttle right at apex would have helped or made it worse.

I spun at that exact same spot at lighning with worn cups=very greasy. Not sure more throttle would have done much in that case.

seems to me like a combination of high g's and a bump unsettled the car. nice track

nice save. great editing! that is a lot of days for one set of tires. I find my rears wear quicker than the fronts for track use, do you find the same? what tires are you ruinning?

rears go at almost 2x the rate. lotta weight back there. Hoosier R6 275f 315r

Thanks for sharing. Great edits on the video. I was thinking the exact same thing. It's probably a toss up with dead tires.

only prob is you don't really feed in a little throttle with the turbo cars
