i have a 97 993 with the standard radio cd player and hifi option. today the radio stopped working and i can hear what sounds like a relay that clicks then buzzes about every 5 seconds under the passenger seat even when the car is not on. if i hold the radio power button down for about 5 seconds it stops. when i push the radio power back on it make the noise again. i have searched all the archives and i cant find a thing. help...

It sounds like your Nokia power amplifier has gone out or has a bad connection to the relay. Just search on Nokia Power Amplifier and you will find a lot of useful information. Most new head units have much more power and you can just by-pass this directly to the speakers. I got a new Kenwood unit which has a nice iPod interface which I enjoy.
