THE best 500+hp 993tt
Please buy the magazine: Total 911
The test was against an old Ruf 930 which was well, old... the other car was a 996GT2 which had had some cheap mapping done to it such that it lit the tyres up every time the boost came in - might appear fast but this very car came to a vmax day and managed a very mediocre 184mph which is about the same as a stock 996GT2.....
The 993 on the other hand, as I always knew, is a very special car
Close up for those like me who are begining to squint a bit

What I really miss is the close gear ratios, reving out in gears 1 to 4 and still only doing 120mph, attempting the same in the 7 takes you the wrong side of 140 !
