Default Intercooler Hoses

The other day when I was under my 993TT, I noticed that one of my intercooler hoses has a small split in it. It's fine for now, but I figure I should replace them next time I'm in there.

I S'dTFA, and it seems that most of the posts were about the original hoses. They're about $450.00, which is fine, but I'm wondering about a higher performance option. I plan to do UMW's Stage II at the most...given that would the stock hoses be ok?

Thanks,

Scott,

I replaced mine recently. I went with OEM - which are now reinforced. Sunset offers them for $150 each.

I also found FVD offers some - but think they may simply be OEM units. Viper Bob once advertised some custom ones, but he doesn't respond to customer requests lately. Not sure if he is still selling them.

When I searched, I read the consensus to be: go with the reinforced OEM units.

BTW, just wait until you DIY these. Talk about fun in tight spaces! You may want to remove the mufflers to give yo a little more room.
