I remember when the Porsche dealer (Stevenson) was trying to sell this car last year (February) for $72K-ish. It has been at this dealership for a few months at $69K...then $59K...then $49K...and now $39K.

I test drove it last year. The engine, clutch, and brakes were all good. The interior, sport seats and carbon fiber were all very nice.

Look at the gaps in the hood, especially higher up on the passenger side.

Other than that, it looks like a killer deal. Carfax is clean.

2wd 993 T? Is this a converted C2 or the dealer don't know what they're looking at.....

It's still AWD, not 2WD. The mods that are done to the car, IIRC, were the GT2ish type body panels put on the car. Stuff in the front end and the rear wing. I think it had a painted carbon fiber hood.

What I don't understand about the CarFax is why it left the State of Colorado for a while, and then came back???

Heck, for the selling price, it could be parted out, and might even make a nice profit.

Judging by the front bumper its a C2. Maybe it has a turbo motor installed.

I shopped that car hard when I bought mine. It was in Ft Worth with a private seller. He told me the rear lid/spoiler, front nose and spoiler were all aftermarket fiberglass, and the entire front end had been repainted. I balked because it sounded like more like an accident reconstruction. It is a turbo not a converted C2
