Default Road America in Wisconsin? How Far from Chi Town?

Thinking about going to the club race/DE up there. How long a drive from Chicago?

About 3 hours if you avoid 90/94. There is a lot of construction, but once you get over the border it's clear. Just up there this weekend for the Historic races and took 59 / 83 ended up on 142 in WI and missed most of the construction.

I was up there for the historics weekend too! Pretty awesome time, the rain was a bit of a bummer but it was still awesome to see all those cars.

definitely go. the club race is off the hook, tons of awesome vehicles. the de great, though you don't get as much seat time as the memorial day event. but still well worth it.

and the parade .....

a group of us usually caravan up there on thursday, making our ceremonial brat stop lunch stop.

elkhart is about an hour north of milwaukee.

normally I would agree with you but having near total brake failure coming into Canada Corner and backing into the Armco (delaying the June Sprints by 45 minutes to unbolt the Armco to extract the car) is cause for a bit of conservatism on my part. It should be noted for the record that I did hit the apex in a vain attempt to make the corner.
