I, as well as many of you use the Fabspeed Muffler Bypass system. I have just recently upgraded my entire exhaust with the Fabspeed new system and that included: Headers with heat, 200 cell sport cats which can be easily removed for cats/bypass due to new in place clamps, and the new small can free flow mufflers.
Old system: Borla BB headers/heat, FVD pipes and 100 racing cats, and the Fabspeed muffler bypass.
As we all know the Fabspeed muffler bypass is loud, very loud. Well, I was pleasantly surprised that the new system sounds even better. It is still burpy but little bit softer, it has more distinctive racing sound and overall better pleasantness to the ear as well as the sound level inside of the car has improver tremendously.
Just wanted to share with you my new mod info.

Looks and sounds great. Congratulations.
May be I shud post this in separate thread! Really wud like to know, how can one clean up, polish up the bottom of the engine bay area, I mean the whole under carriage of a car (be it the 993 or other). I asked - yeah dont have the time or space to do it on my own - my Porsche dealer to clean up and polish the under carriage of my 993 TT, yet it still looks, should say, rusty, corroded, etc...as if the vehicle been sitting outdoors/rain/etc...all its life...which is NOT the case!
Note: Porsche dealer washed then dried, then applied WD-40 all over the bottom end, including mufflers, bypass, etc...still they look rusty :-(
What can be done...! Help...and thanks in advance for any hint, advice.

Thanks. Think you're right ref. "Cosmoline undercoating". Upon asking another fellow 993TT owner, he suggested: "better to leave it as is, since the under carriage still has the original factory protective Cosmoline undercoating, and there is absolutley no rust there"!
