The most stunning car in the world...
...is quite possibly the 993 Turbo. I was doing some stuff in the garage and moved my car and just caught the perfect glimpse of it against a well-lit, white concrete wall from the rear 3/4 view and... OH MY GOD. It truly stirs the soul. These are more than "just a car" - there is something more to them and the emotional reactions that they elicit in those who are so enlightened.
Just thought I should mention this. Fellas - don't ever, EVER sell your TTs. There will never be another car like these.

As great as my CGT is, I find myself more passionate about the 993tt.

[QUOTE=993MAN;6636069]I'm often saying we need to slap ourselves with a wet fish sometimes.
Thats just a Kiwi thing....nothing to do with this post.......they do it all the time! I married one and the amount of times I come home at an inappropriate time and there it is........a wet fish on the side board!

i totally agree.
i started my 993 compulsion with a '95 NB. great car, loved everything about it. i sold that and "moved up" to a '97 c4s...i love everything about this car. i now want a turbo...it seems like the next step. although a bad time to sell my car, i think i'll make it up with it being a good time to buy a turbo.

Well said and couldn't agree more. I catch myself thinking the same thing a lot and find myself parking in different directions so that when I come back to the parking spot, I get to see a different angle or a favorite angle. BTW, I think the rear 3/4 is the best view of the thing.

Totally agree. The air-cooled turbo's are more fun to drive than the water-cooled turbo's, not just because of the more "pure" sound of the air-cooled, but also the chassis and entire car is more compact, more tight, with better lines. Just look at my 996 and 993 together in my driveway-the 993 body is just perfect. And both of mine are tuned and very fast, the 996 with EVOMS' GT700kit, the 993 with Protosport's all-out Protomotive upgrade to "stage 2"-I'm picking the 993 up from Protosport in NJ in a couple weeks-with bigger turbo's, dual RSR fuel pumps (the single RSR pump from last year's upgrade ran lean with the 3076R turbo's at high boost ), and new brakes-can't wait!
