Default A-Pillar door noise/click!

The A-Pillar door stop mount moves every time when I open and close door. Is there a way to fix the mount in its place, perhaps meg weld it? Is there a better way to solve this nagging sound/movement problem.

If someone had similar problem with the door of their 993, please advise!

Thanks in advance.

Thanks man. Just had a look at that post. Ugly process, involves cutting welding, end result might be worth it, but doubt I can go this far.....gotta find another way. There must be other way than mutilitating the door/parts.

Thanks again!

Have a pro fix it; it is worth it. Anybody that works on aircooled Porsches and welds should know how to fix it properly given it is such a common problem.

^^ second. Find a good, reputable 911/Porsche experienced shop and bring them a printout of the linked post and they'll take care of it. I just had mine done and you can't tell anything was repaired.

Thanx guys. Porsche dealer bodyshop said they can do it, in a pro way. Will see about that. Cheers.
