Default 16/16g's installed

Hope this works. Its the result of a DIY turbo install, enjoyed the whole experiance after sourcing the new turbos. Anybody need a hand in the following just give me a shout
old turbos off and on with 16/16g's
new lower gaskets in
fpr replaced with 5bar
div.valves replaced with 710n's
profec boost controller installed in the ashtray
dme removal and replaced with protomotive
and how not to replace a IC pipe by removing the s.plug wire.

Sounds great Laurie! Now just wait until you can turn up the boost to 1 bar, I promise you'll be happy

Thanks Guys, the whistles great but im sure its the lack of mufflers that help in its sound.

I turned up the profec on low settings to 25%, BLOODY HELL its a big difference to stock - im going to try her out at 30% on the way home

Magown - its just he fabspeed muffler bypass.

Barney1 - While mine was on its lift i read all about yours, great setup and thanks for sharing as it helps fools like me move in different directions. (just got to continue avoiding the CHP and i dont think my K40's going to help cause you can hear this beast from a mile away)

wagongotya - i recognise that wing from Josh's photos and yes ill get that boost up, might need a diff boost gauge casue it pretty hard to glance down at the profec when your to busy hanging on.

At bottom of slippery slope (for now)

hehe man you are going to love that thing at 1.1 bar

I really love the boost gauge in the clock location, very easy to read and don't have to take my eyes off the road. There are some downsides though, you lose some of the warning lights on the clock

No Dyno before (stock with 37k miles) - do plan on Dyno'n it but not sure on benefits as i can confirm that it feels fast, very very fast. no lag - straight on it -and this morning hit 1.06 bar - had to crank the profec up to 50% - but i hit 1.06 in 3rd and had to prepare for freeway exit so not truely WOT.

so low setting for no on profec will be 45% and i'll leave a high setting with 55% and a warn of 1.1bar - I'll try high out at the weekend when i get a chance to top up with 100 octane here in sunny CA.

Protomotive claim that the programming and turbo combo put the TT at or near 500 - all i can say is it feels way better than +25% gain - verry happy

apologies for crackberry quality photo - but just before getting into the office and changing my shorts i snapped the profec proof.

Nice...glad you like the set-up....I like the fact that there is NO lag and it pulls all the way up to the shift point....Use good fuel only..I made the mistake of trying the new Shell fuel and it was pinging... lowered the boost and I will NEVER use that stuff again. Sunoco only from now on. I found 94 octane about 10 miles from my house and I will be making that trip.

I run w/proper fuel (plus head and rod bolt upgrade) and I run 1.0 for highway and 1.2 for canyons....perfect....and an EBC is a great little bit of kit....
