Default Porsche Sport Steering wheel.

I need to decide on which steering wheel to order for 993TT. Choice between two types from Porsche AG for 993 models.

Plz see example at this link (first 2 wheels) on page:

http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalo...sche_momo.html

I think the 1st (Club Sport) may be better that the RS wheel (the RS more like a Momo than genuine Porsche). Thats what some of the guys at Porsche parts said (they dont have any of them parts in stock - have to order). No catalog as well!!?

Cant decide which wheel is better looks! The image of the 1st wheel is grayish, but thats picture quality - no doubt the acutal product is as black as the RS one. HELP!!! Anyone seen both of them wheels in reality - which is better looking/sporty/feel !

Go for a 3 spoke porsche wheel with airbag. IMHO it is the best choice.

Thanks Turbodan - I need Porsche 3 spoke NO AirBag steering, and they only got those two, thats why have to choose between them. The 3spoke AB you mention, IMO, looks like Boxster or 996 car steering.

BTW, are those white! front signal lights on your car! Sweet..! Where did you get them from. If Porsche part number please! Thnx.

Personally I like the RS wheel. Search 993rs on youtube and you will find some in-car track videos that give you a pretty good idea what it looks like in the car.

The other looks dated to me. FWIW

The Club Sport would certainly be my choice. This is the style and look that matches the car in my opinion.

I'm going for the Porsche RS style steering. Now dealer tells me: Porsche factory doesn't sell "sliding contact and deactivator for non-airbag steering wheel"! So need to search net to find the part/s!

Any idea where to find them slider/deactivator (he described as "probably 20 bucks worth of parts". Searched google 'slider contact, non airbag deactivator' nothing turns for Porsche steering, be it RS or any other Porsche steering. Only found deactivator for child seat.

Quick Reply: Porsche Sport Steering wheel.
