gday all.

i am trying to find out if the front differential from a 95' 993 turbo is an LSD (if so what type) or if it is just open. i am keen on using one in an open wheeled race car as they appear to be quite small and light. so far the usually reliable google has given me nothing so any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

I have one complete unit for sale if you want one. I am not that far from you! Not to sure what you mean by light either.

 

How far away exactly??? the last differential we used was a torsen center from an evo 9 front diff. the center from the 993 seems to be a little lighter.

 

The front diff is just a four spider diff - no locking action, and thankfully so
