I never knew anyway because my car is so fast that the clock often ran backwards. It was a problem.

After having been on a proper drive or two with the new gauge, I can tell you it really increases the fun factor for me. You can't imagine how different the readings are between the gauge and computer display. When you first get the gauge and you suck and blow on the little nipple (Yea, I did it and so will you) you think "well, we'll see". Then when you start it for the first time and it goes straight to -.5 and then every time you move the gas pedal that little needle just plain jumps. It really has been worth the money for me. Just tremendous and impossible to tell it's not factory.

Can you post a picture of the gauge at night with the lights on ? how is the back lighting does it look like the rest of the factory gauges? I talked to a customer with one of theses the other day and he stated that the backlighting was not the same as the other factory gauges? what is your opion on this?

OMG Guns! I have been subscribed to your thread on the 911T forum for ever. That is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.
I actually called NHS after I saw what they did for you. They said they were interested, but despite my best efforts, they passed on it. Unfortunately, even though the 911 gauge is the same size, there are all kinds warning lights on the 993 gauge.
I guess one guy in Germany can do it, but NHS has too much on thier plate.

Oh wow - didn't know about the lights etc. that would seem pretty intricate - now I understand the "gear tooth" look. Glad you got something that keeps the functions. Congrats and as always you have the most superb mods to compliment such a fine example. I've drooled over your car for many hours, that interior is to die for!
