I gotta believe the turbo would come with a more extensive tool kit.
this is one detail that has previously been overlooked when comparing tt to na.

Dave29- to 'un-split' the decision, my 96 'tt tool kit is similar to your top picture as well. Did not come with the 12-point tool for v-belt. Had to add that separately on my own.

Mine is like the top picture. Except that I have the pliers from Gert's picture. My car was Euro Delivery, it has slightly different stuff. (Compressor, safety triangle, and a few other things.)

Yup, that bottom kit isn't from a 993. My 1995 n/a tool kit is like your first pic. I.e. all 993 tool kits should look like your first pic.
But in the big picture, who cares. These tool kits are a joke anyway. You'd be much better off buying a $30 Companion kit and tossing the tow hook in there.

No.......it wasn't a test. Believe it or not, this was the tool kit that came in my car when I purchased it(C4S). If it's from a Boxter then the previous owner has a very nice tool kit for a 993 that somehow didn't make it with the sale!!! Go figure. Don't think it will be the first time that something like this happened.
Oh well.
