Your car definitely caught my eye when I was in Dallas.

Hans and Wayne wouldn't let me drive it. I didn't understand why.

Justin,

Patrick (the owner) can tell you more, but it's a Ruf Turbo R, which is a 993 based car that has had serious modifications that turn it into a monster. So to answer your question, it has had both engine and suspension mods. Quoted hp is now 490 but it's probably closer to 510.

I WISH that was mine. That is Turbo S that is stored there. But mine is faster!

As Brian states, it is the real deal. It started its life as a Euro Delivery (US car) C4S with Aerokit 2 and a few other goodies. In 2001 the original owner decided to get it "modified" by a little tuner in Germany. $50k later, it had a new engine, transmission, exhaust, etc - the RUF Turbo R package. It is sold as a 490 HP upgrade, but my engine dyno sheet shows 515 hp.

Car was certified by Alois as a 200+ MPH car. He even took a rock to the windshield during testing - and replaced it on the house. I have lots of interesting stories from the original owner. How he spec'ed it when he bought it, spending time with Alois, this cars years on the autobahn, etc. Cool stuff.

I bought the car earlier this year and decided to complete the Turbo R package cosmetically. The OE only did the engine upgrades as he wanted it to be stealth. I added 18" RUF wheels, Pss10, RUF steering wheel, RUF shifter (a surprise gift from my wife), and deleted the rear-seat-delete. I need back seats. (No my rear-seat-delete is not for sale. It is safely in storage.)

I absolutely love this car. It is so stable, so fast, and incredible to look at! GR is my favorite color.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

I didn't even pay that close of attention. I saw red and didn't look at any of the details. Not even close.

18"'s. It was a tough call, but in the end I wanted a more compliant ride. While I initially had a few regrets in not getting the 19's, I am over it and am pleased with the 18's.
I have the 19''s and I wish I had the 18's.... Not many tire choices my size... You're car is looking good... like your avatar!

Javier,

I doubt that 18" wheels will fit over your monster brakes... very few brands will clear mine. And stop your whining about 19" wheels... a good set of proper tires can be had for under $2000.
