Stunning! The IRC work was outstanding, and the roof line make so much difference. It needs some lowering to go with the new sporty look, even if you need to destroy your driveway entrance

Post the new weight please once you get it back home.

TB,

WOW!! What else can be said? Fantastic job!

The IRC looks like it was meant to be - and the lines around the roof area =

I agree with Jean - LOWER it !

I really like the mirrors too - can you tell me if the rear wing obscures your view through them? I kept mine because i thought they would block my vision on the road?

Simon.

TB,
One amazing incarnation after another.
I thought the old girl was just about perfect, and now this....
Glad she is back in 4WD mode - you'll need it to get out of that paddock.
As for how low - guess those favourite country roads will be the limiter.
Great job.

TB, what are your plans with the 993 after the '7 arrived?

Still daily driver or every other day driver?

Thanks for all the comments. I am not seeing the car in the flesh until Wednesday next week, it is having the front end and other vunerable areas wrapped in the 3M clear stuff....

That is a good question, I was sort of hoping that I could progress from the 993 and use the 7 as a DD.
I was considering selling the 993 since I do not enjoy having more than one toy to concentrate on however these pics have got me in a quandry.
I am discussing tuning options on the 7 and am awaiting some 0-300 data on an RS tuned 650hp GT2 tested by Sport Auto, I want to see just how much "progress" has been made in this department....

Could be worse than being in this quandary :-)

I doubt that the raw numbers of the 7 will be that extraordinary.
There are lots of 7 GT2 lapping the ring at these times and yes, they are quite faaaaaast.

I have been passed by Sabine with the Frikadelli 997 GT3 RSR on the Ring the other weekend when she did a laptime record for this renn series - 7:07 minutes. The 997 GT cars are monsters!

Toby - that is too <expletive deleted> cool. Your car was already a 10 - now an 11.
