Default how to dyno

hello,
can someone please tell me the proper way to dyno a 993tt? Do the front drive shafts have to be removed and if so is it safe to drive the car like that?
thanks

There is a small coupler located just ahead of the front of the trans that can be disconnected fro dyno work. Also, its ok to drive on it like that if you wish.

Engine dyno with bespoke facilities to replicate on road cooling to all components in particular the function of the intercoolers.

why would you disconnect the front end for a dyno run? Lots of shops have 4x4 capability. Surely doing this would give false results due to drivetrain losses on 4 wheel drive?

because most 4wd dynos do not mechanically link the front and rear rollers resulting in destruction of the viscous coupling. Do a search here and in the 996tt forum for more details and horror stories
