jeez- cut the newbie some slack- the "acerbic" comments are exactly what mere mortals would expect from some Pcar snob who thinks he is better, smarter, richer, has a cleaner car or wears bigger gold chains or whatever.....

Hey Road Runner,

It takes a bigger man to apologise when he has done/said wrong. Read my posts.

No flaming here

Jimcamp......

Read this thread.......I have sold P cars since 1989 and used to manage the P dealer when 964's where new........I am not bragging, but providing a frame of reference as to my background. Made a few small mistakes early in my career, but "in my opinion" nothing even so much as remotely close to what this guy appears to have consistently done over time. Never heard of a dealer with such a bad online rep. Amazing......

Call Ray at RPM Sports Cars in Houston.......he is a first class act and will find you the perfect car if he does not have it.

FULL BOOST-
I appreciate you retracted- and I had second thoughts before posting, but did it anyway, as too many times in RL the attitude in some of the posts is IMHO less than noble when it comes to newbies speaking out. Not always the best way too attract new blood. Not all of us are as knowledgeable about the cars as others on the list and it would be a shame for newbies to retreat to other forums because of percieved attitude. (even if in jest- not everyone has a sense of humor!)

I bet the OP put in a search for "Victory & satisfied" and came up with nothing.

It's tough love around here, and yes it takes a certain level of maturity to appreciate acerbity, but when you consider the amount of flaming and chest thumping and 'roids raging on the other motoring forums most populated by pre-teens....there's no substitute.

Welcome to the forum Road Runner, and all of y'all users. Maybe consider joining??

and Victory....I think the consensus is obvious.

FWIW Victory had 2 excellent master techs working there over the last year and both left because of the business practices.

Have you searched for "turd"?

I did - Per Webster's:

turd
One entry found.

turd

Main Entry: turd
Pronunciation: \ˈtərd\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English tord, turd, from Old English tord; akin to Middle Dutch tort dung and probably to Old English teran to tear — more at tear
Date: before 12th century
1sometimes vulgar : a piece of fecal matter
2usually vulgar : a contemptible person

No flame war intended. Should have been more clear. Indeed the coveted Victory.

Cheers,

JIMHSU
thanks for the reminder- I was a member once (02-03) but let it lapse partly for the reasons mentioned. I re-upped membership in july 08- but had forgotten about it and see that its still not reflected on my posts.
