Hi graeme,
this can be true actually. I personally know one person who owns a silver 98 Turbo S that was delivered new from Weissach with more than 600 hp and a whole lot of modifications. Top speed 365 km/h - at that time one of the fastest. So I can imagine that there are a number of (10?) further cars around, that were upgraded by Porsche on demand.
Btw: I saw that your GT2 is for sale - why?!?

They are the original sales pics of my car but Thomas can tend to use previous pictures obtained on occasions.
Re : limited edition 993 turbo 'S'. What a load of rubbish that I have been given. To Quote "sorry 170 turbo 'S' but 1 of 11 manufactured 1998". I am absolutely furious and I told the chap at the time he was talking a load of shoemakers.

I wouldn't be too harsh on the chap. As these cars get older the truth will become more blurred that why it is so great to have forum like this with lots of knowledgable people, keeping it alive
