Fantastic looking car from the same dealer I ended up purchasing from. It was under offer last Friday, deal must have fallen through. Its 1/4 a million dollar price tag was enough to make me look for other options though

Dan,

I was in Sydney last week and made the offer on the 993 TT "S". I believe my offer is a fair price but currently in a stand-off situation.
It does not have sports seats but in excellent condition.

I guess my 964 Turbo 3.6 will have to suffice

How are you enjoying the 993TT ?

I am enjoying it very much while still getting to know her.

My history is with performance motorcycles, and am loving the comparable speed and acceleration characteristics. I am no longer riding bikes...

The handling is something out of this world. When they say driving a 911 is like taming a wild horse they most definitely had the 993TT in mind. My previous vehicle was a 1993 964 so as you could guess it's quite the driving curve for me. The 964 now feels comparatively mild.

Still resisting the urges to hop into the car at midnight and take it for a whip around the block. It's a very VERY exciting time for me right now.

Good luck on that S, I had a seat in it, without starting it as I realistically would not buy at or around that price. The interior was beautifull. Barely touched. I wanted to be able to justify an offer on it myself. Are you from QLD, or elsewhere, seems a few of us may have been hunting around Sydney last week. James of CTS mentioned that there was another full asking price offer on the 993TT I bought very soon after they accepted my offer. Must be the season....

Thunder,

I am not sure what your offer was but i know that they have knocked back an offer in the high teens recently....

Paul - your car (being the most deisirable colours) will fetch a good premium - that forest green one is ... well..... forest green.....

Dan - glad you are enjoying it!

Paul,

Could you provide some more details/pics of your 993TT "S" ?

What options does it have - DSP, Xenon, Sports Seats etc ?

Dan,

As I am just about to move - I have found some spares lying around.......... Other than my wheels which dont fit anymore - https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turbo-forum/421000-champion-speedline-wheels-other-tt-parts-for-sale-aussies-only.html

I have a new pair of 993TT FVD "Export" sports mufflers to sell. They cost me an arm and a leg - and i carried them home in my baggage from Hawaii when the dollar was in the toilet....

As new as you can get - installed for all of 5 mins - and lighter than stock...Make me an offer - I dont want o move them - Like i dont have enough parts....

As much as I would like to cut sick on the upgrades, I am going to pass. As you know its a real slippery slope to begin down. Once I have settled in on the car I might come back.. Out of interest, is there a video with the sound produced by this one? uho.. what am I doing???

Dan,

How's about this for a deal.... PM me an offer (They cost me $1800au) and once we have a price - I will send them to you - if you like them - pay me - if not send them back?

Either way - not much to lose?

Simon, would love them but I have to stick to my guns on this one. No mods till I get this new purchase up to scratch. As you know from this thread I have a few maintenance issues requiring some financial attention before that happens. I bought this 993TT knowing it was not perfect so I must pump a few dollars into her first.

I would still like to know how they sound, I had no luck finding a video or sound of them on the interwebs.
