I see you were first in class! Good job! Those modified GT2s are fast around the track aren't they? I Have the toughest time getting rid of them. I wish you had any datalogs of before and after around the track.

Congrats and good job.

Nice video Jean! Just curious why you were hanging back and not there at the start?

No we were supposed to line up the three of us but they left me hanging when I was still securing my 6 point harness, I later decided to join the party, I was a good 20 cars behind the 997TT by the time I accelerated. Speed was around 260kph.

Only 20 cars length? You could've taken a nap and still caught up.

Vincent, looking forward to see some runs with your car

Freak, I have a 3.8 ltr. twin plug engine, Mahle P&C, Carillo rods. Pressure sensing setup (MAF removed), Motronic N/A ecu, mildy ported and welded heads with sealing rings, stock valves, upgraded springs, retainers, guides etc.. 7100 RPM rev limiter, injectors (can't remember size but they max out around 1.3 bar), equal length headers, T03/04E turbos, twin Bosch 044 pumps, single rear muffler 964 style basically. Protomotive intercooler.

Engine dyno 705bhp@1.2 bar, real street power IMO around low to mid 600 hp with pump fuel depending on weather, sub 1.2 BAR.

Chassis Moton suspension, RS arms and a few GT2 bits, street/track setup, RS ride height, 2WD 993 RS shifter parts, stock 993TT big reds with Pagid, stock G64/51 gearbox without LSD

Weight 3100 lbs without driver. Best 60-130mph 6.2s with one shift and tall tires at less than 1.1 Bar.

Phew...

Jean

Don't forget to leave out the little things on your car like the secan and the sequential.

Steve, after I sold a sequential gearbox that I had, I installed a stock G64 while I get another one prepared for racing in the US. I ended up selling the other to someone who needed it in the US and never finally installed an LSD on mine.

I have a rallye background and a 2wd high powered/no LSD car can be a lot of sideways fun even if slower on the track.

Vincent, the sequential was sold and I unfortunately never owned a Secan

Freak997TT I will send you a pm if it is the case
