In the UK we get charged $150K for a 997 for the pleasure of donating to Porsche's profit coffers whilst the 997 costs buttons to make, even the crate engine costs only ~$12K which would just about buy a set of my turbochargers... Those Ruf wheels are the most substantial component that car will ever enjoy.....

Well you did ask for some stick

I was implying you posted in the wrong forum. Perhaps you meant to post this in the 993 forum?

Default TT

This is a 993 forum, just TT? Also I maybe incorrect but thought the 993 GT2 was a turbo and thats is the car with the similar design as the front chin spoiler I added to my 997.

My car is not a 993 nor 993TT I agree but not sure i agree it is "off topic" as the topic was started speaking to the subtle design q's of the 997 going back to the 993 and my goal to take it a bit further. but can also see your point a bit as well.

WOW. Rough crowd here. They guy is just proud of his Porsche and showing it to us. Nothing wrong with that. Aren't we all Porsche enthusiasts?

Default thanks....

thanks, but I do understand in posting a 997 on a 993 section has its risks and only post pics if your ready to take the good with the bad.....so far most has been good. But apprecaite the support.... thanks

993TT subforum can get pretty rough. I would say this is a glowing reception for your 997. Just don't tell Tobey you pulled 600ftlbs on a Dynojet....

Hey, I'm only kidding. You did seem to sort of "ask" for some abuse

The 997 at US rates is a great car for a daily driver. Did it really run 600lb/ft on a dynojet

These wheels look awesome on just about any P-car. Great choice but time to start thinking about a 993TT.
