I thought S spec was not considered the same as a Turbo S.

Hi Charlie.......you may well be right! Mine runs a genuine "S" engine and all other specs but was brought into this country without the correct paperwork and without all the correct taxes being paid and thus not registerable for road use. It was then issued a new VIN number in the state the owner resided in by the local authorities so it could be registered there.........I dont claim the full "S" nomenclature because the VIN is non-genuine. I have traced the original VIN via engine and gearbox numbers and I know a little about the history of the car before it was sent to the colonies to serve it's penance and do time with me......thats the short version......I have reams of paperwork and I am happy with the fact that it is an original S
