As some of you may know, I have just been through a disolution of my 24-year marriage, and I also just retired from work. My entire family (including my 93-year-old parents) live in the Santa Cruz area. I was up on a visit, and was looking at some condos, apartments, and open houses, and dang... I bought a house up there. I should say "a cottage" (that's what the builder calls them).

Escrow closes on June 13th, and I'll probably be living there by mid-July.

I wanted to say how much I'll miss my SoCal fellow nitwits... I sure have met some great folks through this forum. I'm looking forward to my move to Santa Cruz, and hope the nitwits up there are just as nice.

I'm very happy for you! House looks great. I feel like we have another reason to drive up there... what's a few hundred miles between friends... we just did close to 2000!

I think it's great that the original three amigos will be living close to each other! I will miss seeing Rufus at events... who knows maybe the beast and I will have to pick up the slack and represent RUF!

I have to tell you what a great guy you are. Before you even really knew me you handed me the keys to RUFUS. That was very cool... of course, you also got me hooked...
