What happened to that car? I was reminded of when "Rufus" showed up and started me on a mad scramble to collect information on that car. In the span of about 2 hours, I talked to the broker, the Porsche dealer's mechanic that did the trade-in inspection, and finally the shop that did the conversion. I even found a photo documentation of the conversion online. I had Tim the broker's bank account wire transfer number and had arranged with my bank to put it through, then got cold feet. The rest is is his(Steve)story!
Could anyone imagine a different owner for that car?

Thanks for that trip down memory lane. I recall being sooo stressed out... I couldn't believe I bought that car sight-unseen. It has turned out to be a great project, and I'm thrilled with Rufus, as you guys vare probably tired of hearing. Oh... did you see my new center exhaust?
