She is done!
Took her out for the maiden drive on Thursday....speechless that thing goes! Dieter built an absolute Monster
Everything turned out fantastic, even the smallest details.
Went with 265 fronts and 315 rears Yokohama.
I will trailer the car back to SF next week, can't wait.
Enjoy the pics

Porschemeister, congratulations!!
I am really happy for you, the car looks wonderful, looks like everything has been done to the closest detail! The interior is perfect!
A few points:
1- Can you take a couple of engine pics
2-I would put the GT2 steering wheel
3- Are you having trouble finding the RS door handles? Let me know if so.
4-PLEASE tell Dieter to stop using that boost gauge location, I know many here have it but with due respect to all, this is either ineffective, or worse, dangerous in such a fast car.
5- You need to take pictures in different lighting conditions to do it justice.
6- Did you go 2WD and if so, any special gearing or gearbox mods.
I can't wait for you to tell us more about how it drives, please post on a separate thread!
Congrats

Wow, that car looks fantastic. Do you get those speedline rims from here? http://www.speedlinecorse.co.uk/ Where did you get the flares and wing from? IME you get understeer using 245/315 R6's so the 265's up front was probably a smart move.

Lots of pieces on this car have actually seen race duty (24h Daytona, Sebring etc.) which is pretty cool!
The fron flares and wing I got thru PMNA as well, had to take the risers of (it was the race version)

Considered putting the RS wheel in but decided to keep the airbag instead (at least for the time being)
I have the RS doorhandles, not installed yet because I am missing a few little hardwire items
Dieter and I discussed the boost gauge location, I think it's ok hardly look at it anyway! (digital readout still working albeit only up to 0.8)
better pics will be taken!
It is 2wd exactly as the GT2 (steel syncos and all..)

Just bought the may issue of 'evo the thrill of driving' magazine where they compare your car to the new GT2. They say 'the new gt2 can't compete with the glamour of the pumped-up original'

I run 265 / 315 MPCS for a dual purpose (mainly track) car. I am surprised with GT2 Flares you can't get more rubber under there. The Hoosier R6 275 width tire is actually marginally narrower than the 265 MPCS...according to the spec sheet.
The car looks great by the way. What have you done to the power plant?? Is it K24's or hybrids/Factory 450 ECU - or something more aggressive??
