sorry i couldnt make fellas. so pissed............started the turbo and heard the telltale "clanging" coming from the engine reminding me i still havent changed the alternator shaft/bearing which apparently has too much play in it. next time fer sure!!

Sorry I missed, as you know I really wanted to meet you guys. My wife had something work related come up last minute(and on a Sunday too!) and that took priority.

WHB-I didn't think you cut me off so no worries. Barney-thanks for raising my back end...it was way too low. The ride is much better over the rough roads. Lunch is on me next time.

Thanks for the kind words. The 930 is a blast and keeps you from daydreaming when driving at speed. I love my car, but just for a moment I am a little jealous of the 993s suspension and anti-lock breaks over those expansion joints especially at mid-corner. In parts of the video you can see my track stiffness suspension setup bouncing pretty good. Those roads weren't real twisty so it's not a problem. I guess it's a trade-off, great on the smooth stuff, with tons of feedback and response... but uneven pavement can be a little hairy. Then again if I don't scare myself once very ride, why even take the car out???

Here is a long 18 min., unedited video. I just let the camera run from takeoff until we stopped for fuel. It is about 150megs, so it was too big for You-Tube. I am going to crunch it down later.

I still wanted to drive some more, so on the way home I stopped by bear Mountain for some solo runs.
