The blower is supposed to stay on - it is a cooling mechanism. It's probably on when you are driving, though you may never hear it over engine noise.

I think the blower circuit stays active for either 20 or 30 minutes after shutdown. Cannot remember which.
If it stays on longer, I would doubt its the blower motors itself. Its just doing what its told to do
