Default suspension replacement?

Hi Guys,

My car is getting near the 50k mile mark and I'm thinking I may go down the route of swopping out the suspension components. It is a German European import LHD and is on standard Euro turbo suspension.

What is the favoured route, PSS9's seem to be the flavour of the day on the 993 forum, is there a factory sport option to enable me to fit OEM parts, as I'd like to keep the car all original if possible. I'm .going to cross post this on the 993 forum also to get their input

Gentlemen and Ladies please discuss.

Regards

The factory M030 springs can be installed, although Bilstein HD shocks (struts) are recommended as the stockers only last about 30k miles. The PSS9s are also well-liked. My car had the HDs/M030 installed by the previous owner, and I disliked it at first but after changing the tire pressures it is a dream. Still, the adjustability of the PSS9s should be beneficial if you track the car or when going for a spirited drive out of the city.

I have the M030/Bilstein setup on my NA 993, inlcuding sways and I like it.
The 993tt I bought has PSS-9s and I love it.

The answer is usually in the form of a question: What are you going to use the car for?

Bilstein HD's would be my choice for street use.
