Default Heat from engine

Hello to everyone,

I am experiencing alot of heat in the driver's cabin radiating from the engine. Was wondering if this is normal or are there any remedy's for this.

Thanks!

Is it that you can't turn the heat off; i.e. you turn the temp **** down but warm/hot air still comes out of the vents?

the heat is not coming from the vents.....its actually coming from the engine.....the rear part of the cabin gets warm....i was thinking that the heat shielding needs replacement

Shouldn't be happening, check for the thick shielding in place forward of the engine.

I had mine replaced not too long ago, it makes some "perceived" difference.

There is a multitude of products out there for heatshielding the engine bay and some of the engine components, inexpensive, effective and easy to use. It should not be the norm though, unless you have some special setup or padding removed.
