I think I had the same driver deliver my car to my house. It was TFX. He was a really nice guy and extremely careful with my tt!
I need to download the video from my minidv camera and post it of him driving my car off the truck.

Drive carefully and don't get any salt on it.
any need for a second set of wheels? if so look below.
congrats, you will love the tt. expect a long winter
A couple of surprises. It's stuttering under load. Guys think it might be the mass air flow sensor. Comments? There are a couple of small oil trickles, one under the tranny and one at the cam head. I've seen what a real leak at the cam head looks like as I've replaced gaskets there on my 993. I'm not worried about this one yet. The tranny one is just a trickle right now. In any case, the PPI told me that the tranny had oil on it so it is not really a surprise.

Right now I just want Cdn Tire to complete their inspection so I can satisfy RIV and get it licenced. Then to storage and I'll figure it out in the spring.

I do restructuring work and insolvency work so that is where the "Receiver" comes from. I did use TFX. The big guy is the driver. He drove the car out of the transport but I had to use a shoe horn to get him in.

Got my Cdn Tire inspection this morning. The hassle is over thank God. Just need to get it licensed. My guys still think it is the mass air flow sensor. I'm not doing anything to it until spring when I can drive it myself and see what they are talking about.

Try a higher grade of fuel or add some octane boost and see if the stuttering disappears

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try in the spring.

The weather was great and I brought him out of storage and home today. A happy ending to a story that started at the beginning of November.

Car ran pretty good but there is definitely a stutter under load that I'll deal with in the spring. At least now, I can sit in it in my garage and dream about spring.

I told you guys...half the fun is the search. hard to stop though even after you get your car. If I had more space I probably would have bought another by now...even though it would be impractical for me to have another.

It's out there. You just need some luck to find it. That and time and money to do PPI's. I did 2 PPI's and got lucky on the 2nd one.

you will find that many owners of good 993tts will wait till spring to sell. another few months.
most sellers at this time of year are in a rush for some reason. if I was selling I would wait till spring as well.

Agreed. I'm not even contemplating trying to sell my 993 until spring.
