Wow, those pictures make me want to cry.
Interestingly enough, I think if you ran the statistics a greater % of GT3 drivers have sold their cars for turbos than the other way around. The trick is that there are so many more turbos than Gt3's

The GT3 is noted for its LACK of low end performance... it is a high-revving, driver's car, and rquires a lot of shifting and your undivided attention. There is next to no low end power available in the GT3. This is not a bad thing... it just requires you drive it differently... and aggresively.
The 993TT has GOBS of low end power... boost can start building as low as 3000 rpm. By 4000 RPM you are in full song. Speaking of song... I agree with the comment on the GT3s musical exhaust note... simply stunning.
