No one here seems to agree with you.

Carnewal.com's website states: This is a factory part and not fiberglass imitation.

To add, FPB only works well on P-Cars w/o the front lip spoiler.

If you add the front lip spoiler the FPB does not extend far enough to protect the front lip spoiler.

Here's a thread regarding the lip spoiler/FPB.

Yeah, it's not a fiberglass imitation; it's Porsche fiberglass!

I'll need to take a photo of the section of the lip that's broken on my car; it's clearly fiberglass.

i will comment though that i have the s spoiler with the front protection bar and the bar has hit the ground before the spoiler did.
the case was where one wheel went into a dip (slow speed in parking lot).
the bar hit and potentially saved the front from a scrape.
in the meantime i have not run into any other situation where my front end was close to hitting although i am carefull with the angles i take, ie its not really that low (not 997 gt3 low by a long shot)

OK

This fellow RLister thinks so too:

Here's a thread regarding fitting a FPB to a TTS lip spoiler.

Side note though, the front lip spoiler has built-in/molded-in a "FPB" that sees a lot of scrapes. I guess more so if the TT is much lower than stock.

I have one of the OEM genuine Porsche fiberglass ones as well. Thank God it's not one of the imitation fiberglass ones!

I have installed two of these OEM lips. The Porsche OEM Lip is made of the same material as the front bumper cover. The replicas are fiberglass or carbon fiber. If you feel your fiberglass is an OEM part, take a pciture of the PN and the broken fiberglass. I think we'd all like to see it.

When I purchased mine, the Porsche dealer parts guys didn't say specifically that its PU or fiberglass. All they said was "its made from the same material as the front bumper". I took that to mean its made of PU.

After several major scrapes and bumps to the front lip spoiler, I'm glad to report its has not cracked like fiberglass would have.

If it is made of fiberglass, then Porsche uses some serious fiberglass to make the front lip spoiler.

Another thing, the reason fiberglass replicas exist on the aftermarket is because its cheaper to reproduce. Or at least that's my understanding of it.

This is an interesting debate about whether the Turbo S front lip is made from PU or fiberglass... I'll see if the spare in the garage loft has a Porsche part number stamped into it somewhere on the inside. In the mean time here are a few photos I took some time back. I got cheap because it was damaged in storage. I have no reason to think it's not genuine; the guy selling it was selling a lot of new Porsche parts from a dealer that had sold out to Porsche GB. I've done some fiberglass fabrication in the past (small boats and a shell seat) so fixing it's easy if/when I decide to use it.

thanks for posting a pic, very interesting on that crack

99% of the debate might be so becuase of what the dealer told us what the lip is made of

but a couple of observations:
the 4 studs in the red circle were not on my lip spoiler;
only had the 2 studs in the green semi circle;
there should be holes along the blue line that matches the mounting points already on the car (hard to tell by your pic if the holes are there);
along the purple line, the edge has a pronounced lip that fits into a "gap" on the front bumper (again, hard to tell from the pic);
IIRC part number was imprinted on the lip spoiler; and
part number on the box is correct.

The two that I have bought from the Porsche dealership only had two studs. One one each side, about where you have your green circle. I have never seen one with more than two.
