Default Baby pics

So, here she is. I opted for a complete re-spray of the car. It had a small dent on the left rear fender when I got it. I did some stuff to the front and some sap had eaten the paint on the sunroof. So after spot painting and blending, it made more sense to just do the whole thing. I have before, during and after pics as proof of no crash damage. Additionally, they confirmed no prior damage and no rust. I really couldn’t be happier. Glass smooth and SHINEY!

Here is the list:

Front bumperette delete
Filled front license plate holes
Headlight washer delete
Turbo S front spoiler (Porsche)
Turbo S front ducts (MA Shaw)
Painted rockers
Painted rear bumperettes
Custom covered Raid 340mm Daytona steering wheel
Custom Tach gage face
CDR 220
Added CF to the center console, door handles, door sills
Deleted rear seats and covered rear area with carpet/leather
Rennline pedals and floor board
Bilstein PSS9s
Techart by Speedline wheels (81/2X18/11X18)
Fabspeed muffler bypass pipes

My vision of the perfect TT

Don,

WOW!! Looks FABULOUS!!! You sure have done a number on it - looks better than new!

I LOVE the colour too - not usually a fan of AR - but yours looks DARKER and shiny at the same time!

Excellent job - I do love your gauge face too!!

Simon.

I actually did it myself. I got the panels on Ebay and recovered them. I cut the carpet for the seat wells and then cut the trim off of my old floor mats and sewed them on the new carpet.

I appreciate the kind words. There are so many awesome machines here.

Simon, those are your old BBPs on there. Thanks again for those, I love 'em!

Looks good. Was it originally Arena Red? Is that why you went with that color?

Looks awesome. Very nicely personalized. What did you use for the pedals and plate below the pedals?
On the first picture it looked like you have the rear brake ducts...too late to suggest, but with the respray that would have been cool to add. It looks like they did a great job...were you nervous? are you putting on the clear bra once the paint hardens? I know I would. again looks great, congrats. I just showed it to my wife and told her you were the guy who bought my car first. I am very happy that it worked out great for both of us.

I thought about the brake ducts. Actually found a pair on Ebay a while back, but it just didn't work out. I have clear bra on the front bumper, rockers and wheel arches. You have a great car. I wish I could have hung around an extra day and met you in person.

Let me check my watch...10 weeks. Can you believe that? They had some issues with the paint booth just before it went in. Took a while to fix.

I am torn on the emblem. I kinda like clean look. What do you think?

Gorgeous car MD11! I think we will start seeing more and more 993 owners opt for complete resprays as many of the mid and upper mile cars are looking a little long in the tooth. I love the look of a "smooth as glass" paint job!
