You guys that installed Recaro seats... I have some questions..

I just attempted to install the passenger side Recaro Sport Topline seat into my 993TT.

Questions:

1) Did you use the Recaro M8 bolts to secure the seat frame to the car's frame? They are so short in comparison to the stock M8 bolts.

2) Where did you tap the 2 wires from the seat into (both passenger & driver)? I thought it would be a harness that plugged in but it looks like they expect you to run a 12V power source and a ground connection.

3) Did you use the 2 supplied "reinforcement bars" that the instructions say to slide into the slider rail??

These instructions are not very clear.. and after spending 2hrs I finally assembled my passenger seat.

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated..

Thanks Jay!! I really appreciate it! I was going to do some more of the install today, but I have more pressing things so I postponed until tomorrow (Saturday).

I have the electronics figured out.. I probed the 2 leads that were under the seat and used those to hook up to the Recaro wires.. Worked perfectly..

If I get stuck tomorrow, I may take you up on your offer and give you a ring!
