I need to order a set of rotor disks for my car. I don't need the hats, just the disks. Has anybody here ever ordered from Colemanracing.com or ordered a set of Alcons for their 993tt? I'm hoping to find someone who has so I can use the hat measurements from their order in order to complete my order.
TIA!

Alcons and Colemans are in totally different categories,..one is a professional-grade road racing rotor made with little regard to end cost, and the latter one is an inexpensive alternative. Personally speaking, I've had poor luck with Colemans.
When it comes to brake components, you get what you pay for.
FWIW, neither company makes a direct replacement that attaches to the Porsche hats. Both rotors will require special hats to install on your car.

So for replacement rotors, the concensus seems to be OE for "normal" non-track use, right?
That is what I gathered from a search. Did I miss anything?
Oh, and Steve, I am sending you an email re. top end rebuild quotes, turn around, etc

Hi Mark:
I would stick to OE rotors for street or light-to-moderate track use.
If one has a front rotor wear problem, there are several solutions to deal with the problem involving pad changes, air ducting, and if that doesn't work, real racing front rotors and/or a plethora of brake upgrades.
