I'm switching to R-Compound tires Yokohama A048's for the first time (always street tires in the past).
My TT sees pretty limited street time (3-4K miles a year) and a fair number of autocrosses.
Any advice on alignment changes I should make with the stickier tires? Do they want more camber?
My last alignment values:
Front:
Camber: -1.5 degrees
Toe-in: 1/32" (total)
Rear:
Camber: -1.8 degrees
Toe-in: 1/8" (total, 1/16" per side)
I was considering going for -2 degrees all around on camber and leaving the toe as is.
Any advice?

I don't autocross, but do track a bit. I'm at about -2 all the way around and would like some more negative. I know the front is maxed out and the rear is at the max limited by the Kinematic setting. I'm using MPSC. If you don't have an alignment guy, I would recommend Brandon Kraus. He does a fair number of 993s.

Rob,
I run almost -5 at the front and -1.8 at the rear. MPSC are my tyre of choice.
I also use a JIC set up and that with some time spent aligning and corner weighting seems to best suit my driving style.
The general rule is the more neg the better. My tyre wear on the track is almost perfect but there is a looong LH sweeper taken at over 200Klm/h that causes the inside left to wear a little (as it is dragged across the track) but other than that all is good.
The street tyre wear is a different story - I usually knock some camber off at the end of the season so when i use it on the road it is less agressive.
EVERYTHING is a comprimise in a street car that gets tracked....
Simon.

You won't be able to get more than 2.2 neg in the front without mono *****. Neg. 3 deg front and 2.8 rear is what I run on Advans and its a even wear pattern.

Thanks for the responses. I decided to go with -2 on the camber all around and see how it goes.
Greg, I've used Custom Alignment for years so I went back to them. I've heard good things about Krause and will have to try them one of these times.
