Disagree, looking at the time slip his reaction/60 are nothing to write home about . With some practice or a switch to a more experienced driver high 10's are a possibility with his current set up.

Most definately... every reduction of a .1sec in the 60 is .2sec in ET at these speeds. He is 2.2+ 60 ft, a 1.8 60 which is doable would yield about a .8+ reduction in ET and that would be the very high 10's...BTW, reaction time has no bearing on ET in any way. The only thing a bad RT can do is make you lose to a car with a slower ET. Kevin

Brad,
Like others have said great trap speed. Just do the 3K rpm drop the clutch and get it in the 10's. BTW, I have a spare input shaft which you'll be needing soon.

And I have spare GT2 EVO axles if anyone needs them.

The 2WD setup needs softer suspension in the rear to launch better, unlike the stock 4WD.

The worse launch setup is putting stiff suspension on a 2WD 993TT, without LSD.

Jean
I am sold on the Guard LSD. With the right suspension it really helps my GT2 hook up when launching.
BTW, I might want that axle and LSD from you.

We will see as i had estimated 1.8 , 60 ft also his et with that mph will be 11.2 , 11.1 at best but no 10's.
His weight car would need more trap speed to get into the 10's or a 1.6 , 60 ft to make it happen and yes R/T has no bearing on E/T.

Well today with a bit of friendly competition from a bud's Z06 I managed some 1:31's at Gingerman. Nearly lost it a few times, well actually totally lost it once in turn 2; a 360 and a big cloud of smoke. Dunno how you guys handle those high speed turns, they sure are nerve racking. Found out the car really moves down the first straight in high boost. Also found out I don't have enough brake and so sailed straight off at end of the straight. Guess that counts as losing it totally twice, lol. There's more in the car so the mid-ohio school is coming none too soon.

Brad turn the boost down , you will be smoother and hence faster.
