This car looks really neat, I am sure the owner spent alot of time and money converting this to a GT2 type street turbo.

Personally I think it is overpriced. You would have to prove to me that it was done with Motorsport parts (they have been out of stock on these parts for many years). I had a Motorsport tail, but with these poor pics you can not see anything to prove that it is no just straight aftermarket pieces. The stuff from Protomotive in not expensive (even K24s are $1500 each new), he has a set of '94 3.6 T wheels (little pricey these days), and worst case regearing the tranny will be $8K. So asking $40k over market, I just don't see it. I like the car, and for $65K it's a car that has been messed with and might be OK for the right buyer.

It was recently listed for $105,900 ... so he just came down $1,000.

It's definitely over-priced ... I doubt he gets that much for it. That said ... I do like it.

I spoke to him., he diod come down a few thousand, but way off of what I think it's worth.

The problem with the car, in my opinion, is that it's alway going to be a replica car. Even if it had Porsche Motorsports inventory on it, you would have to find a special buyer, with a lot of money and not a lot of Porsche knowledge, when you tried to resale it.

I would rather find a low mile regular turbo.

I appreciate your feedback.

After just having talked my way out of yet another speeding ticket yesterday, I can't imagine what I might say to the officer that pulls me over while driving that car... it is very cool but with the exposed rivets and all there's probably no talking your way out of anything in that...
