Default About Front Splitters...

Pardon my ignorance but are they really efficient (down force) or just a cosmetic mod?? Did not wanted to highjack the other thread.

GT2 or RS type front splitters look like they can have an impact but the Turbo S looks more like a cosmetic (nice tough) mod...

From memory the Turbo S has less lift than the standard set up... And general theory is that you have to add a front spiltter/spoiler if you increase the rear one in order to keep the balance. Look for posts by MOD500 about 6-9 months on his experience with splitters and wings when in the 160+ range.

Here's some more info comparing NA and tt cars: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turbo-forum/221981-what-does-the-whale-tail-do.html Perhaps this is what I was thinking about and I'm mistaken about the tt S.
